Hi BJ, I'm with you all the way on these comments here. Definitely applicable to a big portion of the population, far beyond those who are Jewish. Maybe there's another piece to write with a broader focus. Great observations about the 24 trauma-maintaining news loop—a powerful cause of fallback developmentally.

I'm happy to hear about what Dartmouth is doing—wasn't aware of this. Your note prompted me to read a couple articles. I'm curious what created the conditions for these conversations to occur—hard to grok the full context but having at least a couple of skilled and wise professors like Susannah Heschel who are committed to provided a space for complexity sure helps. She made a powerful offer and many people accepted. Without this speech act, this offer, none of this happens. Very encouraging.
