My point in referencing the carpet bombing in Dresden is that the solution to that (likely) war crime wasn't to end the war but to not carpet bomb Dresden—to not commit a war crime.

If Israel is committing war crimes, it should end the crimes, not the war. I advocate for a very different military response—a counterterrorism strategy that will have vastly reduced civilian deaths. You might just support it if you thought about it for a moment.
